Tense ছাড়াই অতি সহজে Voice Change করার কৌশল

Voice Change 

 Voice –বাচ্য

Voice শব্দের অর্থ কণ্ঠস্বর বা আওয়াজ। কিন্তু Grammar- এর পরিভাষায় একে বলা হয় বাচ্য।

Voice- এর সংজ্ঞা

কর্তা নিজে ক্রিয়ার কাজ সম্পন্ন করে বা অন্যের কৃতকার্যের ফল ভোগ করে, এরূপ বুঝাতে Voice এর রূপের যে পরিবর্তন হয়, তাকে Voice বলে ।

Voice– দুই প্রকার। যথা-

১.  Active Voice (সক্রিয় বাচ্য)

২.  Passive Voice (নিস্ক্রীয় বাচ্য)

Active voice- এর সংজ্ঞা

কর্তা যখন নিজেই সক্রিয় হয়ে ক্রিয়ার কাজ সম্পন্ন করে, তখন verb- এর  Active voice হয়। যেমন-
I eat rice. (আমি ভাত খাই)

Passive voice – এর সংজ্ঞা

কর্তা যখন নিষ্ক্রীয়ভাবে অন্যের কৃতকার্যের ফল ভোগ করে, তখন verb- এর  Passive voice- হয়। যেমন-
Rice is eaten by me. (আমার দ্বারা ভাত খাওয়া হয়)

Voice পরিবর্তনের কিছু কমন নিয়ম:

 Object:
Verb কে Whom (কাকে, ব্যক্তি) এবং What (কি, বস্তু) দিয়ে প্রশ্ন করলে Object পাওয়া যায়। যেমন:
She gave me (Object 1) a book (Object-2).
Mawa Showed me (Object 1) her long black hair (Object-2).
এখানে ১নং উদাহারণে me ও a book এবং ২নং উদাহারণে me ও her long black hair অবজেক্ট দুটি এক ও অভিন্ন বিষয় নয়। আর এখানেই মূল খেলাটা, অর্থা দুটি অবজেক্ট যদি একই ব্যক্তিকে না বুঝিয়ে আলাদা আলাদা কিছু বুঝায় তাহলে তা Object. আর যদি দুটি Object মিলে একই ব্যক্তিকে বুঝায় তাহলে পরেরটা Complement.

 যেমন: She called me (Object)  friend (Complement).
এখানে me ও friend বলতে একই ব্যক্তিকে বুঝানো হচ্ছে। তাই প্রথমটি Object আর পরেরটি Complement. অর্থাৎ এখানে friend হচ্ছে me এর complement.

আর আপনি যখন Voice Change করবেন তখন মাথায় রাখতে হবে যে, আমরা Object কে Subject বানায়, Complement কে নয়।

Passive Voice এর চিরন্তন গঠন প্রণালী:

Subject + to be verb + V3 + by (কোন কেন ক্ষেত্রে by লাগেনা) + Object

 নিচের ছকটি মুখস্থ করে নিন, 
অতি সহজে শর্টকাট কৌশলে voice change করতে পারবেন। আশা করি, Tense এর প্রয়োজন পড়বে  না।  

                        

                        

কিছু উদাহারণ:

Act: Sagor calls me
 pass:I am called by Sagor.

Act: Mawa Colled me 
pass: I was called by Mawa

Act: He is plying Ludo 
pass: Ludo is being played by him

Act: He was playing Ludo 
pass: Ludo was being played by him

He will be playing Ludo 
pass: Ludo will be being played by him

Act: She has written an SMS 
pass: An SMS has been written by her

Act: Mawa had written an SMS <
pass:An SMS had been written by Mawa

Act: I can help her 
pass: She can be helped by me.

Act: I could help her
pass:She could be helped by me

Act: I must help him 
pass: He must be helped by me.

যদি বাক্যে ডাবল  object পাওয়া যায়, সেক্ষেত্রে কী বরবেন? এর জন্য প্রথমে object  ও  complementএর পরিচয় জানতে হবে।যখন বাক্যকে ব্যক্তিবাচক ও একটি বস্তুবাচক Object থাকে তখন ব্যক্তিবাচক Object টিকেই বাক্যের Subject বানাতে হয় । আর যদি একান্তই বস্তুটাকে বাক্যের Subject বানাতেই হয় তাহলে ব্যক্তির আগে একটি to বসাতে হবে।  

Passive with Double Object or Complement.

Act:Mawa gave me a pen.
pass: I was given a pen my Mawa.

 Act: A pen was given to me by Mawa.
 pass: Mr. Islam teaches us English.

Act: We are taught English by Mr. Islam. 
 pass:  English is taught to us by Mr. Islam.

 Act:  The headmaster elected me C.R.
pass: I was elected C.R by the headmaster.

Passive of Quasi Active

 Quasi Active কে passive করার দুটি পদ্ধতি। (1) Sub + Verb + Complement থাকলে ‍Sub + is + v3 + Complement. অথবা Sub + is + complement + when + it is + v3 যেমন:

 Act:Honey testes sweet. 

pass: Honey is tested sweet. 

pass:Honey is sweet when it is tested.

Act: Iron feels hard.

pass: Iron is felt hard.

pass: Iron is hard when it is felt.

Reflexive object এর ক্ষেত্রে passive

Reflexive object (myself, himself, herself, themselves etc) Active voice কে  passive voice করার নিয়মঃ

Structure
Active voice এর subject টি passive voice এর subject হিসাবে বসবে।
+ Auxiliary (Tense & person অনুযায়ী)
+ Verb3 (Past participle)
+ by
+ Reflexive object

Active: She killed herself.
Passive: She was killed by herself.

By এর পরিবর্তে অন্যান্য preposition দিয়ে passive voiceঅনেক ক্ষেত্রে passive voice করার সময় by ছাড়া অন্যান্য preposition যেমনঃ to, at, in, with ইত্যাদি বসে।
Active: I know him.
Passive: He is known to me.

Active: The news shocked me.
Passive: I was shocked at the news.

Phrasal verb এর ক্ষেত্রে passive

বাক্যে যদি Phrasal verb থাকে তার সাথে preposition যুক্ত থাকলে তা সর্বদা verb এর সাথেই সংযুক্ত থাকে।  

Active: He looks after the orphans.
Passive: The orphans are looked after by him

Imperative sentence এর active voice কে passive voice এ রুপান্তর করতে গেলে সর্বদা Let আসবে নিয়ম-

মূল verb দিয়ে শুরু যুক্ত active voice কে passive voice এ রুপান্তর করার নিয়ম-
Structure:

Let + object এর subject + be + verb এর past participle form

Active: Close the door.

Passive: Let the door be closed.

Active: Shut the window.

Passive: Let the window be shut.

 Don’t  যুক্ত active voice কে passive voice এ রুপান্তর করার নিয়ম-

Structure:

Let not + object এর subject + be + verb p.p

Active: Do not close the door.

Passive: Let not the door be closed.

Active: Do not shut the window.

Passive: Let not the window be shut.

Let এর পর যদি কোন ব্যক্তিবাচক object (me, us, you, them, him, her)থাকে এবং তা যদি Imperative sentence হয়, তাহলে active voice কে passive voice এ রুপান্তর করার নিয়ম-
Structure:
Let + object এর subject + be + verb এর past participle form + by + ব্যক্তিবাচক object.
Active: Let me play football.
Passive: Let the football be played by me.
Active: Let us sing a song.
Passive: let a song be sung by us.
Active: let him give the chance.
Passive: let the chance be given by him.


Never যুক্ত active voice কে passive voice এ রুপান্তর করার নিয়ম-
Structure:
Let not + object এর subject + ever be + verb এর past participle form
Active: Never tell a lie.
Passive: Let not a lie ever be told.
Active: Never do this.
Passive: Let not this ever be done.


মূল verb এর পর যদি কোন ব্যক্তিবাচক object (me, us, you, them, him, her) থাকে এবং তা যদি Imperative sentence হয়, তাহলে active voice কে passive voice এ রুপান্তর করার নিয়ম-
Structure: Let + direct object টি বসবে (মূল verb এর পর যে object টি থাকে + be + verb এর past participle form + for + ব্যক্তিবাচক object
Active: Buy me a shirt.
Passive: Let a shirt be bought for me.
Active: Give me a glass of water.
Passive: Let a glass of water be given for me.

Interrogative Sentence এর active voice কে passive voice এ রুপান্তর:

Auxiliary verb দ্বারা শুরু sentence কে active voice থেকে passive voice করার নিয়ম।
Structure: auxi. verb+ obj কে sub + v3+ sub কে obj +?
Active: Have you eaten rice?
Passive: Has rice been eaten by you?



Who যুক্ত interrogative sentence এর active voice কে passive voice করার নিয়ম।
 By whom + auxi.verb+ obj কে sub+tense অনুযায়ী be/being/been+v3+?
Active: Who is calling me?
Passive: By whom am i being called?



Whom যুক্ত interrogative sentence এর active voice কে passive voice করার নিয়ম।
 Who+auxi.verb+v3+ by+sub কে obj +?
Active: Whom did you see on the road?
Passive: Who was seen by you on the road?



What যুক্ত interrogative sentence এর active voice কে passive voice করার নিয়ম।
 What+auxi.verb+v3+by+sub কে obj +?
Active: What do you want?
Passive: What is wanted by you?
